Kawakawa ( Macropiper excelsum ) is known as the “Pharmacy of the Forest”. The small tree, with distinctive heart shaped leaves, is a significant and sacred plant to Maori. Among its many healing properties, it is reputed to soothe insect bites and stings, skin rashes, poor circulation, bruises, wounds, burns, aches and pains.

We are a mother-daughter team from Northland New Zealand specializing in making Organic and Natural Products.

Leah (My Mum ) is the "Le" in Leons, Mother of 2 and she's the one who had the idea to start this business! Her role is Formulations Tech - she makes all of our Natural Balms, Deodorants, Soy Melts, Soaps, Body Scrubs, Body Butters & Moisturisers all from her home in rural Whangarei.

My name is Fallon - the "on" in Leons I'm a Mother of 4 (plus a few fur babies) residing in the Far North. My role is Manager/Candle Maker - I Manage the day to day running of the business including running the website and social media, customer enquiries and distribution. I also make our beautiful candles!
